The 'Eight Evil Thoughts' series of releases is a collection of solo noise works from the early 2000s when Debra worked with In the Land of Archers and Sevastopol Is Covered in Sewage. These experiments were mostly created as gear investigations and sound sculpting exercises. While this material was never meant to be released, upon delving through Debra's archives, key pieces and excerpts proved interesting enough, either on their own merits, or with varying degrees of editing and post processing. Nearly twenty years later, they are presented in short, thematic EPs, crafted around each of Evagrius Ponticus' Eight Evil Thoughts.

This EP represents Thought four of eight: Sadness.
